Walnut Hardwood Thin-Sawn Craft Board

A solid choice if you want natural hardwood Walnut without getting plywood options. Each piece comes individually wrapped in plastic and is really straight. I'm very impressed with the quality, and we'll be purchasing more in the future for my laser cutting needs. It cuts great and engraves clean. For the value, it's a great option

Great quality sheets of walnut wood, very flat with no warped sheets. The cut cleanly and easily with my 30-watt laser. The sheets are mostly true to size, once in a while there is a sheet 1/16 of inch shorter, but wood can shrink. I've bought these three times and was happy with my purchase every time. I like to use these walnut sheets to cut out letters for signs I create and sell.

Great wood great color

The hardwood planks are perfect for my laser cutting projects. I dry them flat with spacers for a few weeks and they’re perfect then for projects. Love having the real wood instead of veneer. Thank you for a quality product! I’ve ordered the maple, mahogany and walnut and all have been top notch.

The wood in 2 of the packs were not flat and very hard to laser cut and plane due to the bowing. The flat ones were fine

Quality pieces

I tried the walnut, cherry and hard maple for engraving signs with 40W diode.They all burn great and you get nice dark words/graphics. I did 10k mm/min @90%.Four stars because the wood is advertised much darker in the picture but it isn’t very dark, I needed to use dark walnut danish oil in order to get that color.

Well pleased with the quality and uniformity of the thin walnut boards. Will purchase again.

Nice product. My husband made 2 small baskets for bathroom storage. Turned out really nice, high quality. There is not a lot of wood so no room for any mistakes in your craft.

Used for lazering, cut nice

I have purchased multiple separate orders from this company, maybe ~50pcs. The wood has been good-to-high quality IMO. They usually send sequentially pairs of boards which makes it likely the pair will match closely.Anecdotally, I've noticed a lot of packs come with 1 pc that is very high quality (completely without defects) with the other pc being SLIGHTLY lower quality. Maybe due to smaller size trees being milled or an intentional business practice, i'm unsure. But it does seem like sometimes they sneak a lower quality board in with a higher quality. I have not gotten a pack with 2 "perfect" pieces. Most defects are minimal/manageable and are related to Reactionary Wood or excessive Pith.With that being said ~95%+ of pcs i've received have been a pleasure to work with. Wood is innately imperfect, but the company seems to be a honest. For me, they have been very responsive and fair in helping solve any concerns/issues.

I was very happy with the quality of these. A bit pricey, but being a woodworker and going from large raw piece to small thicknesses, I get it. I love the natural and unique grain on them. They make beautiful laser cut piece.

This is pretty much what I expected from the Hardwood Edge and with proper measurements I think it will be perfect for a small jewelry box for my granddaughters fifth birthday. I’m excited to see how it cuts down to the dimensions I’m going for and I think it is also a nice not too expensive couple pieces to try it on and fingers crossed that I actually get a nice little jewelry box made. I think having so many options for wood is awesome to be able to get it from Amazon and we need sellers like this to be there when we want to buy a specific hardwood online. I’m happy with what I received from them and I recommend them to anyone else that would like to purchase wood precut and ready to work with easily. The walnut is beautiful and it’s probably the first actual walnut I’ve ever wanted to get because of the dimensions and it’s ready to go status.
