100% Solid Hard Maple

Hard Maple is an American classic that is loved for its clean feel and soft tones.

COLOR: Maple flips the script. For most hardwoods the rich heartwood is the prize, but not with this species. The lighter sapwood gives Hard Maple its signature light tones that range from a cool white to a golden pale cream. The heartwood leans towards a mid-tone warm brown.

GRAIN PATTERN: Fine even texture with a generally straight pattern but it can have wavy or curly elements.

USE: Perfect for woodworking, custom items like boxes, furniture etc. or as a contrasting piece with a darker species. It is recommended to use a pre-conditioner to avoid blotchiness when staining.

For laser cutting you may want to consider our thinner Hard Maple.
